Hand Plants are hybrid forms. They are at once animal (body), vegetable (plant) and mineral (bronze). Hand Plants are individually cast in open sand (see the process).

Maquettes are studies for the larger Hand Plants and are also complete works in themselves. They are modeled in wax, and then cast in bronze using the lost wax process. Each piece is unique.
