In my large-scale projects, I work with members of the site’s community, incorporating casts of their hands and feet into the design. For the Southeast Pennsylvania Transportation authority I was a finalist to create six subway gates in North Philadelphia. I was also a finalist for a project at the Azeez Museum in Woodbine New Jersey, a synagogue that was converted into a community museum. For the Woodrow Wilson Middle School in Philadelphia, I worked with the students to create a Rising Sun (the name of a nearby street). Students each made a tile representing their hopes for their own future, and a hand with a written wish for the world.
